Josiah Armstrong is a firestarter, trailblazer, and dynamic force within Youthstorm and Basecamp! A former Youthstorm intern and now one of our passionate directors, Josiah brings an electric blend of creativity and prophetic power to everything we do. He’s a master at pulling us into the spirit, igniting the atmosphere, and empowering youth to boldly step into their calling. His energy is contagious as he trains and equips the next generation to unite, mobilize, and thrive in their faith. Josiah’s commitment to discipleship is unmatched, and let’s just say, he makes it super fun along the way! CAMP COMMANDER

Diane Arsenault is the heart and soul of Basecamp—our beloved “Mama Di” and Executive Director. With over 25 years of experience leading Basecamps internationally, there’s truly no one more suited for this role. Diane’s dedication to raising up the next generation of disciple-makers, her unwavering love for God, and her passion for youth make her the perfect leader for the job. Holding a master’s degree in pastoral counseling, Diane brings not only expertise but a deep, compassionate heart for guiding and nurturing every individual she meets. Diane’s love and leadership are the glue that holds everything together, and she leads with a unique blend of strength, wisdom, and grace.

CEASELESS CHEER CURATOR

David Bates is the behind-the-scenes powerhouse and program assistant at Basecamp. A former Youthstorm Intership Alumni and Angel’s trusty sidekick, David is all about making things run smoothly and turning dreams into reality for the team and youth. He’s always ready to bring the fun, whether it’s a round of any sport or adding his signature “upgrade” touch to our facilities. With a heart genuinely devoted to the Lord, David seeks to bring glory to His name through everything he does, especially in serving the youth. His dedication, energy, and care in creating unforgettable experiences make him a valuable part of the team.

COORDINATOR OF CAMP CONNECTIONS

Known across the Youthstorm family as the “Mandatory Fun Manager,” Adriana is always ready to bring the good times while staying laser-focused on what matters most. As a Youthstorm Internship Alumni, she values pouring into youth, fostering connections between teams, and capturing every unforgettable moment. She’s the driving force behind our vibrant branding, marketing, photography, and communication, always taking us to the next level. Her heart for the Father and passion for Basecamp are reflected in all she does, ensuring every detail is handled with love, excellence, and intention.

FIRE CHIEF

Timothy is our Fire Chief, ground manager, and resources manager who leads the Fire Support Team with excellence. From keeping hydration stations filled and spaces clean to adding epic flair—like building a full ship replica for last year’s bonfire—he ensures camp runs seamlessly. Fire Support isn’t just about logistics; it’s about stoking the fire of what God is doing and being the backup others need in the spiritual battle for souls. As a Youthstorm Internship Alumni, Timothy’s leadership and dedication fuel both camp and the Kingdom!

ANGEL BAEZ

Angel Baez is the personification of hype! As the Director of Camp Hype, he brings a level of energy and passion that’s truly unmatched. His love for the Lord is evident in everything he does, and he is a living example of what it means to lay down his life for the gospel. Whether he’s leading a high-energy youth group activity or pouring into individuals at rallies, Angel’s presence is contagious, drawing others into a deeper relationship with Christ. His heart for young people and his dedication to seeing them grow in their faith make him an epic leader and a true catalyst for change. When it comes to creating unforgettable moments, Angel is the one you want leading the charge.

Meet Andi, our administrative assistant with a divine gift we all rely on! She’s the one behind the scenes making sure registration runs smoothly, finances stay on track, orders are placed, and every little detail falls into place. As a Former Youthstorm Internship Alumni, Andi’s love for the Lord is reflected in all her work, and her sweet spirit is perfectly paired with her keen humor. She’s the kind of person who brings both grace and laughter to our team, and we’re beyond blessed to have her keeping camp running like a well-oiled machine!

GRUB GURU

Meet Laura, our Grub Guru who keeps the camp kitchen running smoothly! With years of experience in commercial kitchens preparing meals for large groups, Laura manages the menu, oversees the teams, and ensures every meal has a dedicated crew behind it. During camp, she’s up early and staying late, cooking and preparing meals that keep everyone fueled and ready for the day. Her love for Jesus is beautifully displayed in her gift of hospitality, and we’re so thankful for all the hard work she puts in to keep us well-fed and energized!
